Know who is in the building, and who is on site.

Visitors, contractors and staff sign in at reception, on a lobby tablet, with a code on the wall or on their own phone. Each entrance checks what it needs, hosts are told when their guest arrives, and the live list is ready for a head count at any moment.

Works on its ownVisitor and site sign-in works on its own, so if it is all you need it is all you buy, and every other part of Obliwise stays optional.

What visitor and site sign-in includes

Everything below comes with it, ready on the first day and yours to change. 19 capabilities

  • Visitors registered ahead

Hosts register visitors in advance, approve arrivals and are told when their guest is at reception.

  • Lobby kiosk for visitors

A branded lobby tablet greets visitors, runs their induction, prints a badge and tells their host.

  • Who's here right now

A live list shows who is on each site at this moment, ready for a muster or a head count.

  • Checks before entry

Inductions, licences, medicals and site capacity are checked at the gate, so nobody starts work without what the site requires.

  • Workplace sign-in

Everyone signs in the way that suits each entrance: a code on the wall, a kiosk, a phone or the front desk.

  • Refused-entry alerts

When someone is turned away at the gate, the people who run the site hear about it straight away.

  • Inductions and talks at sign-in

Inductions, toolbox talks and photo or signature capture happen as part of signing in.

  • Automatic sign-out

People who forget to sign out are signed out at the time you set, so the register stays accurate.

  • Crew sign-in and spot checks

A supervisor signs a whole crew on at once and looks up any worker's standing on the spot.

  • Noticeboard self-sign

A posted notice or talk can be signed by anyone who reads it, inside the window you set.

  • Automatic sign-in by location

Consenting workers are signed on and off as they arrive and leave a site, with a one-tap correction.

  • Kiosk that keeps working offline

The kiosk keeps signing people in when the connection drops, following the rule you choose for missing checks.

  • Kiosk mode

A tablet becomes a kiosk with large touch targets for sign-in, forms and roll call.

  • Cards and printed passes

Workers sign in by tapping a card or scanning a printed pass.

  • Codes and tags

A QR code or NFC tag on a wall, machine or area opens the right form, record or plan.

  • Visitor accounts

Visitors get a narrow account for exactly what they need to see and sign.

  • Hours on site

Time on site adds up automatically into hours worked per site, crew and contractor.

  • Roll call at the muster point

Roll call runs from the live on-site list, and people check themselves in by scanning a code.

  • Scanners, access control and sensors

ID scanners, turnstiles, access control systems and sensors connect to sign-in and alerts.

Where it works

In the browser on any computer, and in these places too.

  • On the phone

In the iOS and Android apps, with or without signal.

Worked example: a visitor arrives at head office

A supplier is due in for a meeting on level three.

  1. Step 1: Registered the day before

The host adds the supplier's name and meeting time. The supplier gets a link with the rules to read before they arrive.

  2. Step 2: Signed in at the lobby tablet

The supplier taps their name, reads the short induction, has their photo taken and collects a printed badge.

  3. Step 3: The host is told

The host gets a message that their guest is at reception, and the visitor appears on the live on-site list.

  4. Step 4: Signed out, or signed out for them

The supplier signs out on the way past. If they forget, the register signs them out at the time you set and keeps the record.
