Look after the injured person, and every deadline around them.

Each injury has one case with its certificates of capacity, appointments and return to work plan, and the clinical detail is visible only to the people cleared to see it. Claims carry their statutory deadlines, weekly entitlements are worked out from pre-injury earnings, and lodgement is recorded on the case.

Works on its ownInjury and return to work works on its own, so if it is all you need it is all you buy, and every other part of Obliwise stays optional.

What injury and return to work includes

Everything below comes with it, ready on the first day and yours to change. 17 capabilities

  • Clinical detail kept private

Medical details sit behind their own access, and every look at them is logged.

  • Certificates of capacity

Capacity is captured beside the scanned certificate, and lost time is worked out from it.

  • Return to work plans

Plans draw on a library of suitable duties and are sent to the people who carry them out for acknowledgement.

  • Claim deadlines

Statutory dates for each claim are listed ahead of time and chased.

  • Injury records

Injuries are recorded from an incident or on their own, including public liability events.

  • Case timeline and appointments

  • Claims

  • Pre-injury earnings

Pre-injury earnings are calculated with the working shown and the legislation cited.

  • Weekly entitlements

Weekly payments step down on the schedule the scheme sets.

  • Direct insurer and scheme connections

Claims are lodged electronically with insurers and schemes where they accept it.

Rates are broken down by site, project and contractor.

Boards see return to work and claims outcomes without seeing anyone's medical details.

  • Insurance premium estimate

See an estimated workers compensation premium with projections year by year, the formula for your scheme and state, and the working shown.

  • Benchmarking against your industry

When you opt in, compare injury rates such as TRIFR with others by industry, size, country, state or worldwide.

  • Injury figures in reports

Injury dates, sites, status and types appear in the report builder, and clinical details stay private.

Where it works

In the browser on any computer, and in these places too.

  • Without an account

Through a link or a code that anyone can open.

    • Return to work plans

Worked example: a shoulder injury in the warehouse

A picker strains their shoulder lifting a carton.

  1. Step 1: One case for the injury

The injury record is opened from the incident. Only the injury coordinator can read the clinical notes.

  2. Step 2: The certificate drives the plan

The certificate of capacity is recorded with its restrictions. A return to work plan with suitable duties is drafted from it.

  3. Step 3: The plan is shared and agreed

The supervisor and the worker receive the plan and acknowledge it. Neither sees the diagnosis.

  4. Step 4: The claim runs to time

The claim's statutory deadlines show on the case, and the weekly entitlement is worked out for you to check against your scheme's own rules.
