The right people see the right things, and everyone has a say.

Roles and permissions decide what each person can do, and visibility follows projects, companies and teams. People sign in with the accounts they already have, new starters are provisioned automatically, and polls, surveys and a suggestion box give everyone a voice.

Works on its ownPeople, access and engagement works on its own, so if it is all you need it is all you buy, and every other part of Obliwise stays optional.

What people, access and engagement includes

Everything below comes with it, ready on the first day and yours to change. 21 capabilities

  • Roles and permissions

You decide what each role can see and do, down to single actions, with changes for individual people.

  • Single sign-on

Staff sign in with your company identity provider.

  • Visibility by project, company or team

People see records for their own projects, business units, companies or teams.

  • Surveys

Surveys run anonymously or by name, with a minimum group size before results show and settings frozen once they start.

  • Access for chosen contractors and groups

Forms, modules and portal pages can be limited to chosen companies, categories, projects or job titles.

  • Saved views for others

Admins build saved register views for a role, team or site.

Visitors get a narrow account for exactly what they need to see and sign.

  • Sign-on setup from a link

Single sign-on is set up by pasting your provider's metadata link.

  • Automatic user provisioning

People are added and removed automatically from your directory.

  • Sign in with an existing account

Subcontractors and casual workers sign in with the Google, Microsoft or Apple account they already have.

Sign-in is protected with an app code, a security key or an SMS code.

Business units, sites and teams mirror how your organisation works.

  • Polls and idea voting

People vote on ideas and questions across sites.

  • Feedback

  • Improvement campaigns

An improvement is pushed to many sites at once with per-site progress.

  • Suggestion box and questions

Suggestions and questions are collected, voted on and answered.

  • Duplicate people merged

Two accounts or records for the same person are merged, with a preview first and a way to undo it.

Worked example: a new site manager starts on Monday

A site manager joins a regional team.

  1. Step 1: Provisioned automatically

The account is created from your staff directory with the site manager role, before their first day.

  2. Step 2: Sees their own sites

They see the records for their region and their projects. Other regions stay out of view.

  3. Step 3: Signs in with their work account

They sign in with the account they already use, with multi-factor sign-in.

  4. Step 4: Has a say

In their first month they answer the safety culture pulse and post an improvement idea to the suggestion box.
