Worked example: an inspection in a basement plant room

A technician inspects fire pumps three levels underground.

  1. Step 1: Ready before they go down

The phone carries the inspection, the pump's history and the procedures for that job.

  2. Step 2: Completed without signal

The technician completes the checklist, takes photos and signs off with no connection.

  3. Step 3: Sent when the signal returns

Back at street level, everything sends, and the sync status shows it has landed.

  4. Step 4: Opened from a tag next time

A tag on the pump opens its inspection and history directly on the next visit.
