Exposures measured, health monitored and chemicals accounted for.

Monitoring programs record results against exposure standards and send each worker their own letter. Health monitoring and respirator fit tests are booked on schedule, and the chemical register holds every product with its safety data sheet, storage and quantities.

Works on its ownOccupational health and chemicals works on its own, so if it is all you need it is all you buy, and every other part of Obliwise stays optional.

What occupational health and chemicals includes

Everything below comes with it, ready on the first day and yours to change. 18 capabilities

  • Monitoring programs

Each health hazard has a monitoring program with results for the whole work group.

  • Health monitoring on schedule

Health monitoring is scheduled and chased for everyone who needs it.

  • Respirators fitted and current

Respirator issue, fit testing and use are tracked so everyone's protection is current.

  • Chemical register

Every product is on record with its classification and where it is used.

  • Results against exposure standards

Every result is checked against the exposure standard and follow-up is raised when it is exceeded.

  • Result letters

Workers receive letters explaining their results.

  • Health risk packs

Ready-made packs cover silica, asbestos, noise, lead, welding fume, vibration and more.

  • Hearing tests

Hearing tests record every frequency and flag significant threshold shifts.

  • Vaccinations

Vaccinations are recorded and due doses chased, with the same privacy as other health records.

  • Safety data sheets

Every version of every sheet is kept, marked current, due soon or overdue.

  • Chemicals added from a lookup

New chemicals are added from a provider lookup or straight from the sheet.

  • Stock and storage

Stock is tracked by location and incompatible storage is flagged.

  • Exposure assessments

Chemical exposure assessments and monitoring are kept with the product.

  • Quantities against thresholds

Stored quantities are compared with regulatory thresholds.

  • Dangerous goods manifests

Manifests and placarding are produced from what you hold.

  • Hazard statement library

Hazard and precautionary statements come from a maintained library instead of free text.

  • Safety data sheet library

Safety data sheets come from our library, a reseller connection or your own supplier connections, and reissues are flagged to everyone who holds the product.

Worked example: dust monitoring on a cutting crew

A stonemasonry crew cuts benchtops five days a week.

  1. Step 1: Monitored to a program

Personal air samples are taken each quarter and recorded against the exposure standard.

  2. Step 2: A result over the standard

One result is above the standard. A review of controls is raised automatically and the worker gets their result letter.

  3. Step 3: Respirators kept current

Each worker's respirator fit test is recorded, and the next one is booked before it is due.

  4. Step 4: Health monitored on schedule

Health monitoring is booked for each exposed worker, and the clinical results stay private to the people cleared to see them.
