Audits and inspections
Plan the year of inspections and audits, run them on checklists that match how you work, and turn what you find into tracked work rather than a report nobody reads.
What it does
Checklists that match the work
Build a checklist in a visual editor or take one from the library, with questions that only appear when they are relevant, so an inspector is not scrolling past items that do not apply to the job in front of them.
Conducted and recorded
Work through the checklist item by item, record what you found, attach photos, and sign off as the inspector. The record keeps who inspected, when, where, and against which version of the checklist.
Findings that become work
Anything that fails is raised as a finding with its own classification and severity, and corrective actions are raised from it and tracked in the Actions register. A failed item can move the whole record into non-conformance automatically.
Verified by someone else
A finding is signed off as fixed by a person who did not raise it and did not do the work. The screen says who may sign it off instead of offering a control that would only refuse.
Audit programmes, planned for the year
Plan a programme of audits over a period with an owner, and schedule each one against the checklist it will use. An item completes when the audit is actually done, and the programme shows what was scheduled, what was completed and what is overdue.
Recurring inspections raised on time
A checklist with a frequency raises its next inspection when it falls due, assigned to the person who should do it, and anything left undone is marked overdue rather than quietly disappearing.
Conformance clause by clause
Where audits are run against a management system standard, findings are recorded against the clause they relate to, so you can answer which clause keeps failing, where, and how often, over time rather than one audit at a time.
A register you can actually work in
Filter, search and sort, save the views your team uses, choose and resize the columns you care about, act on many records at once, and export or print exactly what is on screen.
How it fits with the rest
An inspection is anchored to the place, the equipment, the team or the contractor it was about, so the same finding can be read from the plant register, from a contractor record or from a project as well as from the inspections register. Corrective actions raised from findings are ordinary actions with owners and due dates, and a serious finding can become an incident.
Completing an inspection can trigger the rest of the workflow on its own: the record moves to review, the right people are notified, overdue findings are escalated, and a report document can be generated and stored against the record for the auditor to read later.
Ready-made content
A library of ready-made checklists installs into your workspace, covering plant pre-starts for excavators, elevating work platforms, telehandlers and light vehicles, scaffold handover, excavation and trench checks, ladders and step platforms, electrical test and tag, height safety equipment, confined space entry readiness, hot work areas, fire equipment and emergency egress, first aid kits, chemical stores and dangerous goods, protective equipment stock and condition, housekeeping and amenities, and workstation ergonomics.
Two packs install the rest. The inspection pack brings the scheduled to closed workflow, an inspection report you can print or send, and the lists behind the fields such as frequency, method and area type. The audit pack brings the plan to close workflow, an audit report, and finding classifications, evidence types and auditor competence areas that follow the international auditing guideline. A pre-start pack covers daily equipment checks, including the fault and quarantine path when a machine is not fit to run.
